Nice set @UPC239. You have 2 of the four 2007 silver proof loons that are quite difficult to get (affordably). Congratulations...

You have some rare loonies there, I am trying to get some
of the older Baby coins without having to re-mortgage.

I am waiting for delivery of the 2006 Teddy Bear Sterling
Silver Loonie (2006 Canada Baby Lullabies Loonie Sterling
Silver Dollar & CD) and the 2015 Baby Teddy Bear Loonie,
(I had a hard time finding this one. Arriving from
Germany in a few days.) Will post pics when they arrive.

SilverDon, I happen to have the 2 you are waiting on. The 2006 is really cool. I got the 2015 Teddy with the 2015 Birthday in a good deal and tucked them away. Both ICCS MS-65. You could only find it in Germany, eh..., maybe I will dig them out and learn how to post pictures again. Bear with me, this won't be quick. .

I have seen pictures on line that show two types of strike
through errors on the 2015 Baby Loonie on the obverse left
side of the queens portrait. A series of dots from head to
rim. Look like die chips to me.

I will check mine when it arrives. Yes this 2015 Baby
Teddy Bear Loonie is looking hard to get, only one I see on
ebay is for $99. I was lucky to get mine for less than
half of this price out of Germany.

It looks like the Montreal set was made up with MS strikes then gold plated and painted. I kinda expected better,so a MS66-MS67 would make those coins Gems if they exist.

chadcoins, I broke apart at least five of those sets, and mine are MS-64 at best. I am impressed with your MS-65 set of those 2009 Canadien loons.

I actually have all the loons ever issued, except for these two:

1. Montreal Canadiens loon struck in gold (mintage of two, one is in Montreal and the other is in the Bank of Canada Currency Collection).

2. 30th anniversary loon dollar, struck in gold (mintage of 350)

I just could not bring myself to cough up that much of a premium for a gold coin.

SilverDon, I checked my 2015 Teddy Bear. No errors on mine.

SPP Ottawa, thanks for the pictures. I'm glad you are posting here, because from your previous posts, I knew you had a huge collection of loons. .

Am I correct in thinking jbuck likes the Canucks? .

Well, no ones perfect. Lol

SPP, you didn't get the gold coin because of price, but how long until the itch to have it gets to you and you crack and buy it anyways? Granted, that is a LOT of money!
