At first I thought it was the Large but now I am thinking it is the small. Haven't paid much attention to the 1941's.

Thanks

The small mintmark, in my experience , is the one most often encountered though neither one truly carries a premium over the other.
Rest in Peace

Chuck Daughter wrote he thought that 12-14% were the small S variety, so scarce, but not rare. I would find about that Percent when searching 1000/5000 LWC. now, find the THREE styles of S mint marks, (hint: 1945, 1946)

Thanks stoneman - never really gets mentioned here (as one to look for) so when I was doing some research I was surprised to learn that there were 2 "S" MM for that year. Always learning that's whats go great about this forum.

Edit:
Thank you Crazyb

didn't know about these either - unfortunately I don't have very many S mm in my stash. I will be on the hunt.

EDit Edit

I found the MMS-006 Again is there any particular one of these that it considered Collectible?

The ball serif of 1946 can often command a bit of a premium. As an example, of the 85 rpm's listed by Wexler only one is a ball serif.
Here is mine , RPM#25

This is good stuff - Thank you all. I usually ignore the MM because I can't see well enough to look for the RPM's but just these regular ones I should be able to see.

Stoneman That is a beauty - Terrific for your collection
