1977-Washington-Quarter-With-Numerous-Rim-Cuds

I found this 1977 Washington quarter in pocket change. The reverse appears to contain several rim Cuds, with one above the "R" in "America" bleeding down into the wing of the eagle. Is this an error coin?
Rest in Peace

That's pushed up metal you're seeing on the rim from damage. It's Post Strike Damage, as it happened after it left the U.S. Mint.

Right, just damage, not Cuds. Hit the books (use this forum's search box to learn about Cuds).
