IMO that looks like DDD or Die Deterioration Doubling.

I agree, what you are seeing is a MD coupled with the glare and light reflection.
For example, look at the difference between the D in God in the second picture compared to the one in the last pic, your pic shows doubling in the last pic and none in the second.
MD plus light playing trick on you. It's a spender.

It's Machine Doubling, since the device have been reduced in size, and it shelflike (flat) in appearance. http://www.error-ref.com/machine-doubling/

No, you said it was Machine Doubling on the first comment. They have been reduced in size on "IGWT", date, and mint mark. Is there something I'm missing here, because they are indeed reduced in size. I'm very confused by your second comment.

Yes It is MD, I did not say it wasn't, MD's devices are not always reduced in size.

Not sure what Chase is talking about as this is clearly MD. In this type of MD the devices are reduced in size. Note this is easily visible on IGWT.

It is MD what is confusing is how it looks on IGWT. it both bounced and slid, 2 kinds of MD. In Slide doubling, it's like a shoe slipping in mud, it pushes the metal so the device is widened yes, but reduced in size by what has squoodhed out/over. So "technically" you're both right, just not understanding the concept here.

Note the mint mark. The area below the mint mark is die wear. The area above the '8' is Machine Doubling. Between the two, it is altering the devices. The Machine Doubling follows not rules. Can move in any direction the machine allows the strike to happen, damage strong or minor. (Note the affected areas are lower than the devices normal height. They are flat, shelf like) It all depends on the machine. Si I feel this is not a doubled die.
