2018 D Penny With Possible Die Crack On Reverse And Other Unsure Issues.

The_Hunter New Member United States 26 Posts	Posted 08/20/2018 7:19 pm Hey everyone it's been awhile since I have been able to do some hunting, but I have finally got around to it and came across a hand full of these 2018 D pennies that all same the same markings. It appears to look like a die crack on the upper left shield rim and I am not even sure what to say about the rest. So hopefully y'all can help me out once again. Report this Post to the Staff

A significant percentage of the LSC's have some form of crack or chip in that exact spot so no.premium there. As far as any other issues I just see some dings and scratches from circulation. Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74932 Posts	Posted 08/20/2018 7:35 pm On the obverse, you have severe Die Deterioration (die wear), caused by a worn die. On the reverse, you have Die Cracks, and a Die Chip. This is the result of a Very Late Die State die. The die was in a Very Late Die State, when your coin was struck. This die was starting to fall apart pretty bad on both sides! Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff

I could not capture a good image of the bubbling. However, it is on both sides on all the coins. Report this Post to the Staff
