This is from Canadian Coin & Currency: Nice looking set but too expensive to get them all. Probably will buy individually. The Loonie, the 50 cents, and maybe the Penny.

Agree it is a nice looking set... wait 4 yrs and pick it up for 2x bullion... Maybe not even 4 yrs.

Is that really the size of the rim on the loonie?

Single Loon is sold out at the RCM but they still have the full sets. I just wanted the loon so I guess I will wait for the deals later.

Very nice coins! The hype for these follows 2015. The Loonie will get the most attention, follows by Half dollar and Penny. For the Loonie - the TSC must have these, the question only - do they have the coins as part of the subscription, or singles only? We could think to load them actually, but given not low starting price, as suggests the history, the raise of price will not be too high.

The reason the RCM subscription sold out before the singles is you get a free wooden case with the first coin. And the subscription is cancellable anytime. Obviously a lot of people are going to cancel after the first coin. I was considering doing a subscription but now it is awaiting stock.

You need to re-read the copy which I have asked a question on because the whole page for this 2019 Big coin series is incorrect.
First it states "free wooden box" with first coin. Then the next sentence states something about relaxing knowing that you will receive all other coins in the sub plus the wooden box with the 7th and final coin in the series. I have sent the question to them.
Second, Check the left hand side column and look at the release dates for each coin and then look on the upper right side to check on the release dates for each coin. They are totally incorrect and I believe the left side is correct. So, in other words, there is not going to be a wooden box with the first. Take a look at the maroon clamshell with a graphic sleeve.

And if you believe the release dates published for a subscription, I have a bridge in New York to sell you. The RCM are notorious for shipping when it pleases them and not conforming to any notice or prior commitment.

I have sent the question to them. Well, it can't be both. Either the box comes with the first coin or the 7th and last coin.

Precedent from 2016-2018 is to ship the case with the last coin. They did not do that in 2015 and I assume a number of cancellations after the 2nd coin later they decided to change the policy.
I would expect the case to ship with the final coin.

According to this Canadian Coin & Currency description, the wooden case does come with the first coin: "This year the first coin will come housed in the prestigious seven coin wood case, with spaces to add the remaining six coins as they are delivered. The first coin is the Dollar, which will be shipped in early October. Each coin will be shipped as they are released, and will be billed at $569.95 each as they are shipped." Also, there is a discrepancy between RCM and CC&C. The RCM say September and CC&C say October.
