I'm new to coin collecting. I've been reading and watching material on coin collecting. Just found this penny today.

Just wondering, is this a planchet error or Cud error and also does it have higher value with this error?

Welcome--glad to have you on board!

That line on the rev of this cent looks like a linear plating bubble. With a wooden toothpick, can you depress it at all?

Added: ok yep being so long it is more likely Feeder Finger Damage. Nicely done @john1.

Thank you. Never heard of Feeder Finger Damage but I just read up on it so now I know for future reference. Looks like a really long spear.

Is this classified as an error?
