There is no doubling. Quite a bit is just machining, MD on the IGWT with some Die Deterioration. The edges of the devices at field level is deterioration/chipping og the edge of die face. Some die dings inside digits, L & I are normal Letter tops, there may be a rim indent above the B or just an edge gouge. The ghosting around the wings is Die Deterioration. Normal coining processes is all.

That is Die Deterioration Doubling. Not a doubled die. Doubling on a doubled die would be raised and nearly equal height to the normal design.

Here are the known 1944-D doubled dies:

Here's one example of 1944-P WDDO-003 that I own, not the best image, but its easily distinguishable to what a doubled die looks. Date, initial and motto are extra thick.

@kyleg02247, I agree that your coin is not a doubled die, but would like to comment that you have included superior photos of your coin with arrows and circles in this thread. That really makes a determination much easier than what we generally get. Thanks for your attention to detail!

Good job
It is nice that anyone, let alone a new member supply good photos pointing out
the areas of concern. It gives the rest of the members a chance to properly
diagnose the problems.
