And one more... Monument to the Fallen Shipyard Workers in Gdansk, Poland, outside what used to be the Lenin Shipyards. Depicted on a Poland 10,000 zlotych coin from 1990.   The monument (also called the Solidarity monument) commemorates 42 shipyard workers killed by security forces during a strike in 1970. It was erected in 1980, making it possibly the only monument to victims of communism erected in a country which was communist at the time.
