Nelrak Pillar of the Community United States 974 Posts	Posted 07/10/2008 10:22 pm I'd say its overall XF as the obverse has more wear than the reverse. The wheat stalks look well defined. It almost looks like the cent has had an olive oil bath due to the sheen exhibited in your photos. Nice cent! Report this Post to the Staff

BadThad Bedrock of the Community United States 19969 Posts	Posted 07/10/2008 11:58 pm Another nice coin Billy! The 09S dies were generally sharp, so it definately shows some wear. The reverse is excellent, only the grains show the slightest wear. I'd dip this into some xylene personally to remove that oily sheen, that should give it a more natual color, because it almost looks recolored. I'd give it an EF45-AU50. Nelrak - I agree, looks like somebody must have put something on the coin to make it look red. The after coin is far superior and more natural looking.....beautiful coin.
