ace_ftw Pillar of the Community Canada 1747 Posts	Posted 09/10/2018 11:08 am This is not an error, because India received its independence in 47, the 48 dies were late in being created. thus making the 1948 a scarce year. they decided to use the maple leaf on the 47 design to designate it was actually produced in 48.
