Whoa, kewl, someone brought this thread back from the dead-- I was not going to.
When I saw that many of our "girls", ahh "ladies" were, ahh, chickens, I decided to let it go. BUT, I insist, I know we have more ladies in here than what they are willing to admit. Why they don't at least vote WITHOUT posting is beyond my understanding--Therefore, the numbers you see are not (is not) LOL a true picture of our forum..The women and girls in here MUST START TO VOTE!! But I wouldn't count on it---

That's where all our problems started: when we gave them the vote. (I could get into a lot of trouble for this. ) Fred Ex-MCP

Fred my friend, I am not going to touch your last comment with a 10 foot pole--- Cisco since you are involved in medical imaging, did you hear about the patient that showed up at Jackson today. She had spots all over her body. after an MRI and a CAT and a full set of diagnostic test It was determined She was "the one" everyone was touching with that ten foot pole

Just to give you something to think about- and you can guess my age- it is well over 39- I started collecting in 1952- and have done so avidly- and including today, have not lost interest. This is the Hobby of Kings.- and I am in the best of company.

OK, I will bring this poll back 1 MORE TIME-- I know we have had many new members join, AND I KNOW we have many more females in this place-- This will be my FINAL attempt to get our ladies to show themselves and PROVE my point of this initial poll-- If the numbers stay as they are, I will ask one of our mods to close this poll since it is NOT truthful-- Remember ladies, you MUST be logged in to vote--You can vote BUT you do not have to post--just be logged in and VOTE!!--LAST CHANCE LADIES---

Well I think I may have voted, but then maybe not. That's what happens when you reach 40. (okay, okay, 45) I only started collecting about a year ago, but have some other hobbies, I built dollhouses for about 8 years and collected all kinds of miniatures to go with them. The last doll house was 6 feet wide and 4 feet high with 14 rooms. It was no longer a "miniature" hobby and took up way too much space. Not to mention the tools that went with it. I have my own small scale drills & bandsaw!!!!!!!!!!! Coins take up a lot less space but tend to weight a lot more. When my grandaughter is old enough she's going to inherit a huge doll house and hopefully a nice collection of coins!!!!! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!! Margaret

Female - over 50 but, I've been collecting since I was under 30. My Mom collected since she was under 30 and stopped when her heart did at 86!
