Hi,

It's a tough one to pick up on. There is some doubling on LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and some upper hairlines.

Keeping in mind it's an accented hair variety to start with, the lower Left serif of the I in LIBERTY has to be almost missing.

Then the next thing I look for is on the bottom of the B in LIBERTY, You can see doubling on the very bottom portion of the B but it is subtle. The bottom right part of the B (the lower portion or bulge) looks deformed and not as crisp as the upper part of the B.

That's as close as I can get you on this one. If you post clear pictures of the B on each coin, I might be able to help.

Have Fun,
Bill

Hi,

Any chance of backing up a little on the B to include more of it? I just am not comfortable confirming or denying what it is based upon the picture.

I think a few more tries on the B might help.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi jeffreyice1,

You might have to take a few more tries with the camera. Focus and lighting are critical. It is not easy to photograph what you are trying to get on a proof coin.

Keep trying and I'll be here to help.

Amac...I'm not sure what you are trying to say but this coin is an accented hair variety, we know that already based upon the I in LIBERTY.

Thanks,
Bill

Having a heck of a time trying to focus with just the digital camera on the coin. I will keep trying. In the mean time I took more off the TV with the Eyeclops. Hope these might help.

I know nothing about this coin, but found the west side of the B had an interesting mark on the image.

Hi

I know nothing of that DDO, but if there is any doubt about the accented hair type, here are 4 pics. of my coin. All four diagnostics shown have to apply for it to be that variety. Hair, I (missing lower left serif),broken rays through stars, straight G (curl is vertical with no left hand turn (serif)

No doubt on the accented hair. It has everything. Indian1 Can you get a close close up of your B the others that I have seem to be more rounded on the lower right. Coop I noticed that too and was wondering if that is some sort of crack.

Thanks
