I've posted this elsewhere some time ago, but it seems most appropriate on this topic. This is a "Participation Certificate" for the 1926 Sesqui-Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia. This was essentially a stock certificate for citizens who invested in the fair (this one was unissued). People expected to get some or all of their money back from the fair proceeds, but poor attendance and other factors resulted in a loss, so these effectively became donation souvenirs.

qktbird, your little museum is amazing. My Grandmother told me about the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair as she attended it as a small girl.

I was scrolling through some of the early pages of this thread and noticed a lot of broken links. @TNG - any idea why most of your pictures have dropped out? Also, I noticed an item from the 1893 fair - @qktbird, can you tell me the printing house imprint, in small type at the bottom of this one?
