2001-P Kentucky State Silver Quarter Dollar ? Am I Right About This Coin

Flokizomb Valued Member United States 81 Posts	Posted 10/14/2018 8:15 pm So I found a 2001 P minted Kentucky Quarter that appears to be silver but It doesn't weigh like a silver but the sides show nothing but a silver Color. Squiddyjoe New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 01/31/2021 02:36 am I also found a 2001 p kentucky State Quarter that has an all silver reeding. It looks like clad not silver but that copper ring around the edge reeding isn't there. I havent gotten a chance to weigh it yet. It appears to be thinner than a State Quarter should be. Squiddyjoe New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 01/31/2021 02:39 am Plated with Mercury. I don't think so. Mercury is poisonous and is in a liquid state. I have a coin just like it and it seems thinner and I definitely know it's not silver. Report this Post to the Staff
