I have a 2014 penny and need a little help. I need to identify the error the coin is indented and has a fine edge on the reverse and the obverse. When held on edge it is silver in color and is twice the normal diameter of a comparable year one cent as shown in the pictures. Looking to see what the error is and how much it might be worth. Thank you

Spooned coin/dryer coin. Post minting damage ( PMD) not a mint error.

It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD), meaning that it happened after it left the U.S. Mint.

It wasn't struck that way. It was altered.

Spooned coin. I will never understand what would possess someone to take the time to do this.
