Hey all! It's time for my second post. This one has been in my coin jar for a very long time. Until a couple of weeks ago, I have never thought to look at them under a magnifying glass. But now I have, and here is what I found. Is it a keeper? Or another dud? Is there any significant value? Again, all feedback is appreciated!
The obverse is showing heavy die wear on the motto. Note the flow lines on the fields. There is a nice doubled die that year on the Denver half dollar, but your coin is from a normal die: Note how the devices are enlarged? That is because of the doubling si on the die.
The reverse looks like Machine Doubling last image. So it is a spender or keeper if you need it to fill an album with.
