Until a couple of weeks ago, I have never thought to look at them under a magnifying glass. But now I have, and here is what I found. Is it a keeper? Or another dud? Is there any significant value? coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/11/2018 8:00 pm The obverse is showing heavy die wear on the motto. Note the flow lines on the fields. There is a nice doubled die that year on the Denver half dollar, but your coin is from a normal die: Note how the devices are enlarged? That is because of the doubling si on the die. The reverse looks like Machine Doubling last image. So it is a spender or keeper if you need it to fill an album with. Report this Post to the Staff
