It's an unlisted RPM, send it to Wexler.

If you look at the bottom lower serif on the last pic it almost looks triple punched. It's an RPM IMO and it may be a triple repunch at that.

Is there that same splitting on the top serif?

I don't see any obvious split serifs and the mark to the left of the mintmark doesn't look to be the same shape as the mintmark, so I think it's a die gouge.

I feel the same way also. It doesn't look like a mint mark punch. Could be a die chip. Are these images of the same coin? It looks differently in some images?

Thanks. I would save it as an educational piece for a new collector.

Well it isn't a RPM, but might be helpful to a new collector, to know what to look for on a RPM. When the shape of the mint mark is not there, then it can't be from the mint mark puncheon.

Would it be D on Horizontal D Mr. Coop?

It would be closer to the mint mark height if it were a RPM. To me it looks like alteration to the die devices. Note it doesn't follow a mint mark puncheon. Also if it were a D/D/D, then it would have been discovered a long time ago. So I'm leaning towards a die event, rather than a die variety.
