Hi, found this coin and I see the letter S on the reverse side...what is this?

What does the opposite side of the coin show?
There may be damage there?

I see some other ttpe of lettering on the top...the D looks filled in.. I dont know what this is

Does the edge show a copper line on it? It should.

Here's the rim and I feel like I see numbers and possible A... Some kind of yellowish tint...what does it mean?

It just looks like some form of PMD to me.

It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD) unfortunately. This coin had had a very rough life. The Copper on the edge is gone and the obverse and reverse shows heavy circulation wear, along with Environmental Damage. It's only worth face value, since it's just a damaged coin.
