I was helping a neighbor this morning as he had to go out but had a TV engineer calling to install a new satellite receiver. When disconnecting the old receiver from the mains I found a 50p coin on the floor. It wasn't a rare date and I gave it to my neighbor when he came home! All of this was before 7:30 AM so I still have the rest of the day ahead of me. It's snow melt season now that it's warmed up into the 40s and 50s around here - the best time of year for street picking! Bonus find already this morning: an unopened 1 oz bag of popcorn. That's the type of climate I wish I lived in While not "found money", I found a 5 cent coin from the Bahamas and a 1945-P silver War Nickel in rolls at work yesterday (and of course swapped them with my own nickels so as not to steal money from the company).
