DiscoLover82 Valued Member United States 218 Posts	Posted 06/11/2023 08:48 am Among 95 cents of other, spendable coins yesterday, I found a 1955-D Wheat cent! At first I thought it said 1959 and thought "aw, so close", then picked it up and saw that last digit was a five! The reverse is a little road-rashed (it was a sidewalk find after all) and kind of ruins what would otherwise have been a nice 68-year-old coin, but hey, a Wheat cent is still a Wheat cent! It's probably happy to find a home after a 68-year career in circulation. It's the fifth Wheat cent I've found since moving to a new city in late August of last year. The oldest was from 1944. MrPink2018 Pillar of the Community United States 2486 Posts	Posted 06/14/2023 4:56 pm last night I scored $3.08 in well-scattered change, the most I've found in one night since may 18... among last night's pickins: a decent 1937 wheatie, joy: no roadrash!!! i rolled up to an air-vac near the end of my route to find that some kind soul left a tidy pile of quarters for me... and.. ...here's a roadkill zincoln I picked up a few nights ago, almost completely unrecognizable as a cent, I added the circulated 2005 for comparison.. i am nearing the $100-mark for the cycle, now almost 8 weeks on... First plastic £10 note I've ever found 'in the wild'. I've picked up a couple of fivers before and once found a paper £10 by the roadside a few years ago when they were still in circulation.
