To my untrained eye it looks like a planchet flaw with a nice delamination going on, but I have been wrong on many occasions.

As symmetrical as the area is I think it is a retained foldover lamination. The area overlapping the rim separated and folded over before the strike and then to further complicate things, after the strike, the bottom part started to delaminate.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
