Crack On Proof Quarter.. - Coin Community Forum

killians76 Pillar of the Community United States 986 Posts	Posted 01/07/2019 04:21 am 2018 ..Rim to rim...Not sure if this is common on proofs but don't have many of them anyways. Ran across this crack that travels up through the A in quarter up to the Y in liberty to or through the chin area comes out the middle of his nose and travels all the way to the edge between the T and E of united.. Minor I would say but just asking to see if this is common or not on a proof. It even has cracks by his hair and neck area on the back of his neck also. . BigSilver Pillar of the Community United States 2843 Posts	Posted 01/07/2019 12:42 pm Pics are a bit unclear, but it looks a little bit like a struck through thread. Easy way to tell is if the "crack" is incused then struck thru, if it is raised, then not struck thru. IF it is a struck thru, there are error collectors who will pay a premium for it.
