I guess my Question , Was My Bill Printed on a Cope Press.. No Record were saved by the BEP during this time.

The Serial Number is B 3839 5384 A ( Series 1976 )
( B ) New York
In my Collectors Guide to Modern Federal Reserve Notes
( Series 1963 to 2009 )
Page 87
It shows the $2.00 Note Serial Number B 30000000 A
But then when I look down the Page under Non Star Block this number is not listed

I think an update may be needed in the Newer Books

It is listing that the BA Serial Number where
made from an Old ( Bureau of Printing ) ( COPE Press )

No, not printed on COPE. Run B38400001A through B44800000A, the next run was. You can see how the BEP alternated runs here. http://www.uspapermoney.info/groups/f1976_b.txt

Conventional SN and not COPE.

For me, it's a bit easier to see in this color coded table vs the text file. Both the table and the text file are from the USPaperMoney.info website.

Thanks for the Information. I will have to remember the web site if I need some more information, Probably 10,000 % better than looking at the Monthly BEP Sites that doesn't go back far enough goldnugget
