Yes you have it! Nice find! This was caused by a Die Clash.

Excellent find ccobb. That's a nice one! I had a hunch you might have one hiding somewhere

And yes, it is a die clash on Franklin's mouth which is the remnants of the Eagle's Wing.Put it in a 2x2

WHile the 1955 BB Ben is the most common, don;t forget there are quite a few documented dates with this error, which makes sense since a clash can happen on any date.

While the 1955 BB Ben is the most common, don't forget there are quite a few documented dates with this error.
