So I found this amongst my coins...any ideas? It has a nice strong rim, but I can't tell the date.

That's a legitimate error coin! Nice find! It was Struck Through a Die Cap. It is worth a nice big premium! http://www.error-ref.com/struck_thr...age_die_cap/

Make sure to get that thing in a 2x2 ASAP!

Now that's what we all wish to find in our piles, it is a gorgeous Struck through Capped die and the coin is in looks like uncirculated condition showing all those steps, need to put it in a 2X2, it carry's a nice premium.Congrats.

That would get FS Designation. Not that it would be dateable, but maybe an ANACS coin.
