I see what appears to be a split serif on the tail of the two but I'm definitely not a pro like some of the walking encyclopedia error guys here.

I am not seeing anything out of the ordinary with your cent. There are thousands of 1972 cents struck with a doubled working hub and those are not the valuable ones. I do see a lot of circulation wear.

To me ,the mintmark looks as if it took a hit and was flattened.

Circulation damage on the mint mark, and I see no doubled die.
