First of all good morning everybody. I would just like to ask everybbody about this coi. I know of the "BIE" error and was wondering ifthis is considered the same or is it "EIR" in this case? I could not find it listed anywhere. I thank you in advance for having a look at it nd I appreciate your time doing so here are a few images have a great....

Nice find! It's a Die Chip. Definitely worth saving in a 2x2 for protection.

It looks like the LDB5-1958-001 5F+ on Broken Die Errors/Cuds-on-Coins But the images on the site are very poor.
Cross references: Cohen 58-B1002, Hardy 58P-5F+2.
Cohen, THE CLASSIFICATION AND VALUE OF ERRORS ON THE Lincoln Cent, has 8 1958 LWC listed pages 88 & 89.
Hardy, BIE Handbook, has 10 LWC pages XCI & XCII.
