As long as they are PVC free than there is no problem.

That's the brand I use. Every once in a while I get a bad batch where some of them snap when I try to fold them over, but otherwise no complaints. IMO, they give better visibility in binder pages than saflips. They're a little bit more clear.

echiento has said it right.

Also use PVC free album pages, Most coin dealers are able to steer you in the right direction.

However,
I use Mylar cardboard flips, because it is possible to write the identification description of ancient coins on the cardboard.

I some cases, with large ancient coins such as sestertii, or more valuable coins,
I like to cut two squares of acetate* sheet to put either side of the coin before stapling the flip. That prevents the high points of the coin from rubbing through the very thin Mylar. Simple, but effective.

* Clear 2x2 acetate sheets can be readily cut from plastic food containers or toy packaging.

Thanks for the idea. I might be using it occasionally.

I store my coins in Abafil trays in an Abafil case. I do not worry about flips or 2X2s.
