Can MD Cause The Appearance Of Peg Leg?

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/11/2019 7:01 pm The cause of peg legs is this. Die abrasion from over polishing. Another one of the things that someone gave a name to that is not a variety. It is a normal die that was over polished. Yours is an example of an over polished die with Machine Doubling. I collect die varieties. So to me they are an attempt to unload a regular coin for a premium. Several examples of these coins are searched for, but not by variety collectors.
