CoinHunter27, it's amazing that these things are sometimes around. I love how he sold it for very cheap, even though it's probably worth a lot more than what he sold it to you for.

True. It was a melt value of $5.50 today for 90% silver Kennedy`s, so I was probably already paying a bit more than I should. Not to be rude, but it`s a Good thing he didn't catch the variety before I did. The price probably would have been much higher. -CH27

You have it. I compared your pics with mine in hand and you made a very nice cherry pick.

I thought so as well. Thanks @Jim0815! I'm super happy to have a TDO in my collection.

I had a the same thing happen to me at a coin show. I bought the normal 1964-D half dollar, but when I looked at it later, it is the same TDO and RPM as well. (but I think I paid $4 back then. about 20 years ago) ![1964-D-50c--Tdo-003-Tripled-Die-Obverse-FS-103!-[added-Pictures]](uploaded/coop/1964_D_TDO.jpg)

Mr. Coop, that's awesome! And you paid less than me. Thanks for the response and congrats on a great pickup too.

Okay a question to the board. When he posted the first set of images and added new ones, what is different about them? Lets see some detective work on this question? (Clue: Something I'm always commenting about on micro photos)
