Cud Error On The Top Of Hat - 2016 ATB Quarter

Good evening, this coin has a Cud Error at the top of the hat.
What type of value these fetch ?
I was told that it is a Chip Error but I decided to still adjust the pictures properly.

Cuds are when part of the die breaks off the die. If it is not on the edge of the die, then it is a chip. Not a Cud. Chips are pretty much a face value coin. A Cud is worth a lot more than face value.

This is what happens to a die to show a die event on a coin. Crack, rim Cud and Cud. Seeing the cause helps to remember the differences. Dips are very common. To me they remind me of where I left my chewing gum:
