Now, I will say that I saw a lot of great posts here in the "12 Days"
I did want to post along the way to comment but held back until tonight. Thanks for a fun thread.

So it's
Day 12Yesterday I posted Diana and this morning I post The other Diana
My most valuable single coin I own.
1999 Gold 5 Pound Proof
Diana
Memorial of Lady Diana Spencer Princess of Wales
Coin number 2155 of 7500 minted

It is 22 carat gold which is .916 fine
It contains 1 troy oz. plus 5.49 grams of pure gold.
with a weight of 39.94 grams of which leaves 36.59 grams are pure gold and has a diameter of 38.61mm.
Regardless, of the intrinsic value of about $1400 to $1500 as I post, these were sold out immediately with some disgruntled
Royal Mint subscribers being disappointed when they could not get one.
There have only been two for sale over the past year or so and they re-list over and over on
ebay and they do not sell.
One seller wants $5,000.00 or best offer, and the other has a PF69 graded example and is asking a whopping $12,995.00.
Realistically, I think that this coin is probably capable of fetching around $3,000.
But hold it in your hand, and it isn't an easy coin to let it go.
