Day 61971 NRA Medal Marlin 39 with Annie Oakley on obverse and the reverse of the 1971 NRA Medal Punt Gun text on the reverse. Another mule medal. I have posted about this a couple times elsewhere, but I just picked up a nicer "correct" version to make this set even better. Below this error image are two correct Marlin 39's and a Punt Gun for comparison.

Day 6 This is the first Morgan dollar I have put into my collection. I " negotiated" this one about twenty years ago or so. A good friend of mine who knew that I "liked" coins came by one day after work; he said he found it inside a brown paper bag inside a wall cavity in a cottage he was currently renovating. I asked what wanted for it and all he said was he'd trade it straight for a pack of cigarettes...done and done! I like the design and heft of the coin in your hand. I'm sure these wore holes in many pockets during their time.

This was such a unique counterstamp. It's more penny art than a cs.

The coin that started it all for me - my primary school teacher said that some British pennies had a lighthouse on them and others didn't - and then I got one in my pocket money with a lighthouse AND a ship! In the late 1960s to find a Bun Penny in as good a condition as this was very unusual: This is the later 1874 obverse with the slightly aged portrait of Queen Victoria.
