 This note looks like any other 1$ 1954 note, except for the fact, that BOC ask a company to put 4 squares with laser holes. regent LM59 canadian paper money society

"laser holes"? Do you mean laser etchings? The images you posted seem more like the lasers created some type of etching or mark on the note. Very interesting...

Under microscope, you see the holes but some are blocked , maybe because of printing or varnish.

Yes- the first sentence states that the notes have been "laser marked" and the last sentence: "If you need a few more notes for your coating and filling tests please let me know" - It does seem logical that the "coating" and "filling" may refer to some kind of varnish testing.

Probably it is why some holes are not perfect or blocked

I have seen this letter before. However there is no mention of this in the GPMC unless I missed it.
Any thoughts on that? Is that because these were internal tests and there are no known notes out there

Except for the one I have ,I never eard that there is an other one in circulation.
