"considering my luck with 2009 nickels (maybe 30 total, 2 in au condition in 10 boxes), I don't think I'll be successful here"
According to your location, you are surrounded by 3 Drop cities for April 1st circulation of the Memorial Park quarters, and later in this month 2 more drops around you again. Apr 1st: Texas Dallas, Houston, San Antonio Mid month: Houston, San Antonio
I would think if you take a day and survey some banks for 1-2 rolls of quarters, or stop and ask them if they have new, or large businesses that use a lot of change and ask for a roll for laundry, you may find new rolls to look through for them. might need to head towards one of those cities if they aren't too far, but looks like you are surrounded! you have a much better shot than I do. I just have 1 city drop point nearby and it's still an hour drive from me.
finding new full rolls on the year of issue is a bit easier than pulling coins from circulation one here or there. still if you find a new roll it might not have a W in it but, just finding a new roll is more than half the battle, and looks like you have an advantageous location to do it.

Quote: I wonder if these will be in those P&D mint rolls that the mint sells? Doubtful. What I do not doubt is that I will be able to get them at a coin show eventually just like I do the S-mint business strikes.

Good thing about the coin show is I get to see them before I buy them.

Yesterday I took a shot and went to a couple local casinos and asked for two rolls of quarters at the cage, one casino gave me two rolls of N.F. String 2019 Lowell P quarters. I think I now have a source for hunting W's once they catch up to the current American Memorial Park quarters that will have the Ws in them. I'm a bit early but I think I have a decent place to hunt even though I won't be able to get boxes of them there. the other casinos around just had their circulated re-rolls without branding, but I think this place is getting armored carrier deliveries on the regular.
I've roll hunted the casinos before, even recently, that was where I was finding the 2019 cents already when nobody else around has them.
Hopefully I will find another couple good prospects to get new rolls from besides just this one place, Hopefully a bank, where I could get a box, but evry bank I've checked just has re-rolls of circulated for the last 3 months and nothing newer than 2018 still.
If you are hunting for this seriously, think a bit about your area, and the likeliest places that use a lot of change and might get an armored carrier delivery for it, that's the best shot for finding new rolls out there besides banks where you will have to wait and hope they don't just recycle turned in change and never need to order, unless you have it set up where they will order new boxes for you for a fee or something. Banks near shopping districts or restaurant/nightlife districts might have better turn overs and require more change deliveries than residential banks for instance. Good luck Hunters! As always it's the best condition coins worth the most down the road so the sooner you find them the less damage they will have on them. :)

Expect to see high premiums on these in mid grade mint states (MS65 and up), these are being mixed in with p and d mint marked quarters by the mint which means that they will likely be distributed through rolls sent to banks for ordinary circulation. As most people who get them first won't know they are rare W mints, expect most examples to be in AU or Low Mint state by the time they are found by collectors. Remember, since there are none being released directly to collectors by the mint, there will be no pristine coins available for collectors from mint sets and the like. Even MS-64's may end up carrying significant premiums.

I'm sure I won't find any but it will be fun looking! I don't see myself buying any in the secondary market but still a cool idea.

Please use them in the future. ***In Coin World issue # 3080 The Article says they will be released in the Phoenix area only for distribution in April and the remainder of April. Good Luck / goldnugget I haven't found any in Charlotte,N.C. I was able to get ( 2 ) sealed boxes last week but they were Re-Rolled Quarters
