I purchased some "BU" Franklin half dollars off this clown a year or so ago. Got the Halves in and none of them would reach XF. I emailed him and said I wanted a return. No problem, however I was out shipping two ways. After 10 years on ebay I got my first Neutral feedbacks. I questioned his use of stock photos and was told it was common on ebay and nowhere did it say that his photos were of his coins. Dang, I should of known that I guess. Stay clear of this guy, he is right up there on my list with and self slabber we all know and despise.

I also have some stories on Mike. If you order coins, make sure you count the coins. I ordered 50 Barber dimes and received 49. It took three weeks to come in (unacceptable) and they did send an extra. Also ordered some BU Franklin's a while back and most were BU but not a good variety on the dates.

We're having a billing dispute with ebay and Paypal. Nothing to do with policy violations.

I actually saw an ebay auction from Mike that pictured the actual coin a few weeks back. I thought to myself "hey Mike gets it now!". Then, I see the stock photos resurface. Mike is taking some big hits from a lot of other coin forums as well as CCF. One would think that "maybe the customer has something here" and "I might want to listen" Naw, not Mike. He's from the PT Barnum school of business ... a sucker born every minute. Unfortunately he's sold to them already and the pool only has an inch of water left.

See it is seller's like this that make me so hesitant to shop on ebay. I of course would look at auctions from the members of this forum as I know they can be trusted and spend lots of time in mom and dads sales. but so far have not been brave enough to bid on anything. It is so scary to shop from strangers and this person is exactly why. You can have all the excuses and explanations in the worlds and I can even accept that occasionally there will be mistakes that need to be corrected but at some point this person has to face facts and see that his customers are not satisfied

I am very skeptical about buying on e-bay. I do understand that there is good and bad in all people and businesses. That is why we have these forums, that we can learn to make the right choices. GLG

Yes, all accounts are involved in a billing dispute. I'm not going to waste my time explaining it, because I'll just get attacked some more, but it had nothing to do with poor customer service. Our DSRs were all above the ebay average for quite some time now.
