Nice collection and excellent photography.
When I view them on my tablet, I can increase
the size of the numbers over an inch high and
they are still clear.

If the coins could talk I wonder what story's would be told about the journey they had. Nice collection Viper.

Any type 2's? After looking for a few years after our CCRS discussions on the coin 1-12 years ago, I've pretty well stopped looking for coins any more. I got the very first one certified (to me almost a curse word) when we wrote the 2011 Charlton variety guide. Bill Cross did it as a favor for me and gave it to Brian to certify it and get in on record as the 9/6 being a legit published variety (even though there were 4-5 other folks who had one). When you concentrate on the inside of the upper loop, you can really see how fast the working dies wore out. Some of the F-15 9/6's show up more well-defined than an XF in the upper loop. It's one of my favorite varieties to look at and handle.

The type 2 is MUCH harder to find. You just have to look at the vine break at 2 (both 1 &2 have it the same) to let you know that you have to look closer. The type 2 has a nice R/P'd 5 and there's no D/C at leaf 11. The type 2 doesn't show much in the gap between the tail and the upper loop, but sometimes shows more inside the upper loop. I think that there are more around. It's just that the "Vicky gunk" usually hides the gap and the lower part of the upper loop. I have yet to go back through mine with a hawthorn thorn to see more, but my back won't handle leaning over the desk. Nice coins, Viper.
