Hello all,

Long time collector of a lot of things, numismatics one of them. I focus on collecting coins that I think are beautiful, not necessarily whole sets. Think SLQ, WLH, Gaudens, Libertads, 50 Pesos, Thalers, etc. That being said, I do date collect pre 1933 gold.

I've been reading the forums a long time, glad to be here.

sharpstrikes: to the CCF!

I share your liking the artistry found in coin design, and U.S. neo classic coin design is way up there.
I have a St Gaudens $20, just because I like the design!

One of the high lights of my numismatic life, was to have a 1915 Pan Pac Expo octagonal and round pair, sitting side by side, in the palm of my hand.

I have also learned to appreciate the artistry in ancient Greek coin design.
