Weird, my wife has been in banking for a long time. Her job as loan officer also included vault teller duty and I was allowed in to the vault to drop off dozens of $500 bags of dimes and sometimes bags of halves. I never counted my loose coin, (courier counts by weight, allowing % over or under) and I would receive my cash back immediately. I asked my wife what the fee to her CU was for coin orders. She wasn't aware of any individual charge, but that it was under a yearly contract.
