Tonight at work a customer paid with 3 rolls of silver quarters minus 2!! I quickly bought them at face! Lots of 30's, 40's, and so on. Even a 1928 Standing Liberty! Nearly 22 ounces of metal!!  Edited by TheForce

What is the average grade? I suspect that they are culls which were discarded by mistake, because they are silver. The result:- you are the winner!!  |

IMHO this was most likely a theft of coins. The thief didn't know what they had and spent them as regular money.

They ran them through the Coin Star but they went to the reject tray. They took them and came back an hour later with them all rolled up. I was all giddy!
