Pete2226 Pillar of the Community United States 3334 Posts	Posted 05/19/2019 12:48 pm Ragged Clips and Ragged Fissures are closely related and seem to morph from one to the other. The way I am understanding the difference is that a Ragged Clip follows closely along the line of the clip with minor irregularities, whereas the Ragged Fissure extends into the coin itself beyond where the line of the clip would be. So that is the reason I have identified this as a Ragged Fissure. A study comparing my coin with the photos in the links provided seem to bear this out. Report this Post to the Staff
