*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. Titles are Important! ***Sorry, I'm new to the forums, meant to upload this in a different category! Found an 1909 S today while hunting around, unfortunately right where the vdb would be there is some corrosion. Hoping someone here knows the markers so I can make sure it is just a 1909s and not anything more. Edited by oaklandpier 05/29/2019 6:10 pm

Even if it were the numismatic value would be decreased tremendously due to pitting and circulation damage.

At least your coin looks better than mine.

Not a VDB. The mint mark is not in one of the four genuine positions.

Still a hole filler. I keep it safe. Someone might need an inexpensive coin for their collection.
(Just noticed Docs was a different coin)

Alrighty, well thank you guys! Also Id say our pennies are pretty close. My date is only more readable because I'm pretty darn sure it was cleaned.

Very close to Die Pair #2 but the S is too high. Not a VDB.

If the coin was cleaned, they need to be told not to leave it in the Vinegar/Salt quite so long.

A few more hours and it would be invisible.
