I know that there is the mark of adhesive on the obverse, as well as the red spots (is there a way to remove them?), so this is no candidate for a TPG, but what would the grade of this dollar be without these flaws? I'm trying to learn how to grade Morgans--at least roughly. This is a scan.

Acetone might well remove those spots. As for a grade, I'll say AU-55 or perhaps 58, don't see much luster.

55. Lots of detail, no luster.
