I looked at this and thought about bidding. I would give it a VG. According to Coin Values you did OK, but that might be inflated compared to VamView. I would'nt turn it down at 100$

Murty,
If you picked it up for your personal collection, I think you did well. If
you were thinking of reselling, your profit might be slim at the present. Coin looks original and I like the appearance, only the apparent gouge to the right of the bar might be a limitation. I would be happy with it if I were you.

Murty, Not a bad coin for the price. Because of it's condition, I don't think you will ever see a great rise in value. Although Vams have been around for quite a while, they were only sought actively by very few collectors. The crowd is growing. Also as more & more dealers realize a couple of extra dollars can be made by vamming their coins the prices are only going up. The top 100, hot 50, and hit list 40 are getting harder & harder to find at decent prices. Wise choice to pick up one your sure of. ebay is a good choice for buying Morgans but lousy if your looking for Vams. Pictures are very deceiving. Happy hunting.

MorgansRmine,
Thanks for the info,I just liked this coin. I didn't notice the gouge pointed out by Desertgem but It was a reasonable VAM for a reasonable price.
When I get coin in hand I will update to see if matched picture.

If this is for your collection and your holding on to it, then you've done okay. In 5 or 6 years you'll probably wish you had bought two. A VG is always better then none at all. Congrats.

A CC for 100 sounds good to me
