Could these be good examples of possible stages of life for the coins? The texture in one seems it might have been stamped with something on the dies or just the zinc aspect of it. also the 3 is feint in one as well and the coin does not have a lot of wear to it. I think though that we are going to need really good close-ups to be able to differentiate different levels of die wear though. Consider trying first to bookend it by finding the most worn out die and then the one with the most remaining detail (the youngest one).
