I've seen the cracks on 2019's in that location of the shield already posted but not the forehead. Both are on the same coin. This was the nicest coin with both so far but there's been many with larger cracks on the Rev. All the forehead cracks look about the same so far (about 1/3 of the box done).

...odd moment... one roll had a random crusty 1983 D in it. It briefly broke up the monotony at least.

Interesting. I pulled some forehead cracks going through a roll as well, but the reverse had no chips. Good luck with the rest of the box!

These areas are common for die crack/chips.

The forehead is apparently a stress point, on the die. It's fairly common to happen.

The metal movement during a strike forces the metal into certain areas during the strike. As the die ages and get polished, it can crack. It seems that the single squeeze dies that do not have a much of a profile to the design, then to crack a lot earlier than the multi-hub dies of the past. The memorial reverses had a tendency to crack on the 4 corners of the dies back then. Now the shield dies have an issue with the upper left quadrant of these dies.

Another area that tends to crack often is the ends of the ribbon. More on the right then left.
