1957 D Lincoln Wheat cent with error near Lincoln's head. Any opinions? It looks to me like a nice die crack or die break.

By the D is a die crack. If the line on the back of head is raised, it also is a die crack and might be part of the crack on the D. What is that right of the E in WE?

I agree that this is a die crack. In this location, we sometimes call this a "spikehead". If you use the search box in the upper lefthand corner of your screen with that keyword, you will find many other examples.

I think it is only considered a spike head when, the die crack runs onto the head from the rim. I am not sure if that crack runs continuous from the rim onto the head.
