An interesting series. I don't know much about them. Thanks all for sharing. I inherited a set like this from my stepfather, 1991 50th anniv. Pearl Harbor, .10th oz gold, 1 oz silver, bronze medal from Royal Hawaiian Mint. I don't know how many were made.

My Maui Dollar is gold colored, but it doesn't hold a candle to livingwater's incredible set. 
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Yes, this is a Hawaii token from IIDA'S, a retail store that sold Japanese goods, formally located in the Ala Moana Center, Honolulu.
