This ones crazy..his face is sunk in in circled area then above his he to the rim..is this a simple die crack or shattered die..jus seems alil overkill..to jus b diecracks

@md, that curved liner defect looks incuse to me. If so, then this is more llikely just damage. Can you please confirm if they are incuse or in relief? Thx.

If you start from center of his ear..follow line to top of his hair..everything below that line is higher than above that line..it seems to even back out at the top of his hair..like it buckled or something..idk..now at the T of liberty rim to rim that line is a risen bump...from end of liberty throught trust up to top of head is separated but not rise in middle

Yes I'm going to take more pics of this one..from a few diff angles and close ups of all three spots..pics will b posted shortly..hope you all had a happy fourth of july...fuzzy thanx for the help and knowlegde..on here..i will keep in mind to tag these correctly

The lines do look incused...making them PSD. Can you get in the grooves with a toothpick? KK

Idk..looks like lots of cracks..face of coin is not level..rim to rim through T in liberty..then a rim to rim through top oE liberty..starts as a line end of Y liberty..goes through trust..line then splits in two then connects again base of neck then splits up back of head..i beleave these to be 2 cracks split off one running side by side..but idk..what do you guys think

The incuse marks looks like it was struck through a thread or something, wrapping over the edge to the reverse? What is the weight of the coin? If it is a bit less than normal, someone may have put some modeling clay around the area where the metal looks thinned, and used some acid on that area thinning the clad a bit. That would be PSD. I've never see this before though. If the weight is normal, then the metal may appear to be thinned perhaps by a bit of thin grease inside this area on the die. (which would seem weird affecting the field as well as the head) So weight might help us to figure out what happened?
